All 4 - 10 year olds are welcome to participate.

This year we are offering a special VBS class for 2 – 3 year olds.

There is no registration fee for VBS but donations are welcome.

Don’t miss this fun week of merriment and memory making to learn about God’s abundant love for us. Bring your friends and neighbors and plan to volunteer!

Camp Casey Weekend Thursday - Sunday August 7 - 10
Compline on the bluff

Camp Casey is located on beautiful Whidbey Island next to Fort Casey.  It's time to play, to slow down, and to spend time with each other.

To register contact
Debbie Hiatt

The property has a secluded campground available to churches.  We reserve 20 campsites for the weekend.  Each campsite has running water, electricity, garbage can, fire pit, barbecue, and picnic table.  The restrooms have hot showers.  Cost is $20 per night.

We also have use of the camp's clean, heated, swimming pools with lifeguards on duty.

The beach, the Fort, the forest invite endless exploration.  Fly a kit on the bluff, enter the digital cameral scavenger hunt, go on a guided eco-walk along the seashore.  Nearby places of interest are:

Fort Casey State Park: Only a five-minute walk from the Conference Center, Fort Casey State Park is a favorite of children and adults. Climb to the top of the Fort Casey lighthouse and look out over Puget Sound or explore remnants of World War I by hiking through concrete fortresses and viewing massive cannons.

Port Townsend:
This historic town can be reached by a short walk and a ferry ride. It's a popular spot for an afternoon of sightseeing and recreation.

Friday Beach Seine: On Friday, August 8, 4-5 PM, we hope to let out and pull in a 150 foot beach seine to see what we can catch.  The camp's marine biologist Keith (he's a hoot) will help us sort our catch, which we will return unharmed to the sea.

Saturday Digital Camera Treasure Hunt our own amazing race with teams and cameras to capture proof of their close encounters of the Camp Casey Kind.

Potluch: Saturday night we have a potluck dinner under the big blue tarp!

Worship: Sunsets are celebrated on the bluff with the service of Compline.  And Sunday morning we build our driftwood altar on the beach to break bread and give thanks before returning home.
